100 Years of Noise es un álbum de recopilación publicado por el sello portugués enoughrecords con la ayuda de vaus spaceship. Su motivo es celebrar el primer aniversario del manifiesto L'arte dei Rumorie escrito por Luigi Russolo en 1913, el cual aboga —y en cierto modo predice— la incorporación de la electrónica y el ruido como parte integrante de las orquestas y la composición musical.
El proyecto es grande, cuenta con 31 temas, muchos de ellos incluyen una pequeña entrevista donde cada artista expone su aproximación al ruido y las herramientas que han usado para producirlo.
Trae consigo bastante información interesante, de hecho hay que dedicarle tiempo para leerla e interpretarla. Se puede entender como una cápsula del tiempo del estado de la música-ruido en 2013 para generaciones venideras.
Se presenta en dos ediciones. La primera publicada el día 1 de Enero de 2013 para celebrar el día de dominio público. Esta recopilación tiene 17 temas menos pero son totalmente libres. La segunda está licenciada bajo CC-BY-NC-SA.
La portada corre a cargo de Love Through Cannibalism, un joven artista afincado en Barcelona.
